VALORACIONES MEDITERRÁNEO S.A. (hereinafter VALMESA) has adapted its Privacy Policy to REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of April 27, 2016, General Data Protection Regulation, and to Law 3/2018 of December 5, Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of Digital Rights, committing to ensure that your personal information is protected and is not used improperly.

VALMESA is highly committed to regulatory compliance, and especially to the protection of personal rights, for this reason, and so that you have more transparent and clear information on how we process your personal data, in this document we explain who is the responsible for the treatment of your personal data, for what purpose your personal information will be treated, the legal basis on which we work for the treatment, for how long we will keep your personal data, to whom we can communicate your personal information, how we collect it, why we collect it, how we use it, the rights that assist you and the processes that we have arranged to protect your privacy are also explained.

By providing us with your personal information and using our websites, we understand that you have read and understood the terms related to the personal data protection information that is exposed. At VALMESA we assume the responsibility of complying with current legislation on national and European data protection, and we aim to treat your data in a lawful, fair and transparent manner.
 

Who is responsible for the treatment of your personal data?

According to the RGPD, the RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TREATMENT is the natural or legal person who, alone or together with others, determines the purposes and means of the treatment.

How do we obtain your personal data?

At VALMESA we treat those personal data that you have provided us directly, by filling out any of the different forms located on our website, specifically, in the sections “Contact”, “I want to know how much my home costs”,
“I want to know how much a piece of land costs”, “I want to value a jewel”, “I want to value
machinery “; “I want to know how much my hotel is worth”; “I want to know how much my
ship”; “I want to know how much my vehicle is worth”; “I want to value an antiquity or work
of art”; “I want to know how much my company is worth”; “I need an energy certificate”
and “I want to know how much a plane is worth.”

For VALMESA, the protection of minors is a priority, and for this reason, we inform you that this website, the applications and products it contains and that VALMESA offers to its users are not aimed at minors.
 

If you are a minor, please do not try to register as a user of our website, applications or products. If we discover that we have mistakenly obtained personal information from a minor, we will delete such information as soon as possible.

For what purpose do we process your personal data?

VALMESA collects your personal data in order to manage your requests and offer you the services and products that best suit your tastes and interests.

Depending on the services, products or requests that you want to enjoy at all times, some personal or other data is collected, specifically:

  • Identification data, such as name, surname, contact information, tax identification number, date and place of birth, nationality, age. 
  • Economic data, uch as bank accounts, credit card number, security number. 
  • Geographical position, Web surfing and connection data, if for example you connect from the phone.

Specifically, VALMESA collects your personal data for the following purposes;

  • Attend to your queries, questions or requests made through the attention or communication channels identified on the website and contact you to solve them. 
  • To manage the fulfilment, development and execution of the contract that you have made with us. 
  • For marketing purposes, including the sending of our newsletter, as well as promotions, contests and raffles.
  • To carry out studies for analytical and statistical purposes, in order to better understand the way in which users interact with our page and thus be able to offer a better service.  
  • Manage invoicing for accounting purposes.

What is the legitimacy for the treatment of your personal data? 

The treatment of your personal data may be necessary at times to comply with certain legal obligations as well as to manage any commercial relationship that VALMESA may have with you.

Therefore, the legal basis for processing your data is your unequivocal consent, so you must accept the privacy policy in order to enjoy the services and products that the website offers.

Where do we store your data?

For transfers outside the EEA, VALMESA will use Contractual Clauses Type of data protection adopted by the European Commission and the EU-USA Privacy Shield as a guarantee of those transfers made to countries that we don’t have an adequacy decision from the European Commission.

Who will we communicate your data to?

VALMESA does not sell, rent, transfer or exchange your personal data with third parties outside of our company. We want to earn and maintain your trust, and we believe that this is absolutely essential for this purpose.

However, in order to offer you our services, we need to collaborate with other professionals, among them; 

  • Hosting service providers,
  • Financial entities.
  • Fraud detection and prevention entities.
  • Marketing and advertising providers.

In any case, the transfer of your data will be carried out in compliance with the necessary security parameters and current legislation.

Outside of the cases described above, the personal data that you have provided to VALMESA will not be disclosed to third parties, unless we are bound by a regulatory provision.

Commercial communications

VALMESA, within the framework of its promotional activity, can provide you with resources for registering or subscribing to newsletters or commercial information related to the brand. Access to these resources will always be subject to your express consent to be able to send them.

In the event that you have authorized it, VALMESA will send you information about products or services according to your tastes, preferences and interests. In addition, in the event that you have expressly consented, you may receive information related to contests or raffles, as well as corporate events or acts close to your location.

Confidentiality and security of treatment

For VALMESA, your personal data is of utmost importance, which is why it undertakes to always treat it with the utmost confidentiality and discretion, as well as to implement the technical and organizational measures that it considers reasonable and necessary to guarantee their security.

In response to the concern that VALMESA has for the security of your personal data, it guarantees that it has used all the technical means at its disposal to avoid the possible loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access and theft of the data provided by users.

Social networks

Currently, social networks are integrated into the daily lives of many internet users, which are why VALMESA has created various brand profiles in them, specifically, in FACEBOOK, TWITTER and LINKEDIN.

Users have the possibility to join those profiles that VALMESA has on different social networks. However, they must take into account that except for those actions for which we request your data, for example for marketing actions or promotions and contests, your data belongs to the social network, therefore VALMESA recommends that its users carefully read the privacy policies and terms of use thereof.

What are your rights regarding personal data?

As a consequence of the processing of your personal data by VALMESA, the current legislation grants you a series of rights. VALMESA then provides a summary explanation of each right, to facilitate its exercise:

  • Right of access:

You have the right to obtain confirmation about whether or not we are treating personal data that concerns you at VALMESA. You can also contact VALMESA that will send you said data by email.

  • Right of rectification:

You have the right to request that your personal data be rectified when it is inaccurate or that it be completed when it is incomplete. If you are registered on our WEB, you can correct them directly by modifying the profile.

  • Right of deletion / right to be forgotten:

You have the right to obtain, without undue delay, the deletion of any personal data of yours processed by VALMESA, when, among other reasons, they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. 

  • Right of limitation: 

You have the right to request the limitation of the processing of personal data; in this case we will keep them only for the exercise or defence of claims. 

  • Right to portability:

You have the right to receive personal data in a standard commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit it to another controller when the treatment is based on consent or a contract, and is carried out by automated means. 

  • Right of opposition:

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, in relation to any purpose for which we treat them and this in accordance with the applicable privacy policy. 

  • Right to file a claim: 

You have the right to file a claim with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
